Churches Together in Woodley

Christ Church is one of the seven churches from all the main denominations in Churches Together in Woodley (formerly known as Woodley Council of Christains).

The church sends representatives to the CTinW meetings and traditionally this has involved our Minister, who has also been part of the local ministers' fraternal.

Members of Christ Church take part in the various activities organised by the CTinW. These include:

• United Services
• Woodley Pulpit Swaps
• Woodley Praise in the Park service
• Service in Woodley Precinct on Good Friday and carol singing at Christmas
• Delivery of Christmas cards to all Woodley homes
• Presence at Woodley Carnival, Open Day and Winter Extravaganza
• Monthly Prayer for Woodley Town evenings
• Lent Study Groups
• Alpha courses
• Rainbow Grief Support sessions
• REInspired project to teach RE in local primary schools
• Woodley Fun Days for children at half term and summer break

These activities run alongside those run by the churches themselves, such as the Rainbow Cafe and Holiday Bible Club at Christ Church, which are joined by people from all the Woodley churches.
